My Last Holiday

I spend my holiday oftenly at home, but there's a day where i went outside Bandung. I went to Jakarta to meet my online friend. I was so excited to go, but it have to be delayed because i have to take a test. I was planning to go to Blu Plaza to watch a drama, "Kita Mahasiswa Jaman Now". My friend also going to attend the drama so i was planning to meet her there. But it was canceled due to colliding schedule so i ask her to meet me at Monas the next day.

After i finished my test, i packed my things that i want to brought to Jakarta. At 5 pm my family and i finally go to the train station. We checked-in and board the train. 

It was a 3 hours long trip. I sat near the window, and actually it's my brother's seat. But i don't care. He doesn't care either, because it's dark outside and he can't see a thing. The train was shaking throughout the journey. I was afraid that the train is going to fall or tumble. My mother reassure me that it won't.

At 11 pm, we arrived at Gambir station. We take a taxi to our hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, i was so amazed by the building. It was tall, and look gorgeous. My mother said it was a 5-star hotel. I'm sure it's expensive though.

We checked in, and the receptionist give us the room key. Our room is in 9th floor. We then went to our room and the first thing i do was to check the bathroom. The bathroom had a bath, a shower, a sink with a huge mirror, and of course, toilet. Then i went to the balcony to enjoy the view. Jakarta looked wonderful from up there. I saw Monas flashing with lights. The lights from buildings around it and cars at the road make it looked even more gorgeous.

After awhile i finally get bored with the view so i decided to came back inside. Me and my brother have to slept in the same bed, and we was arguing who should use the big pillow. After some times we finally fell asleep.

The next day, we woke up at 5 pm and do our prayer. Then we went to the dinning hall to have our breakfast. The dinning hall is also huge, the foods was arranged there and it all looks delicious. We take our breakfast, because it was 'all you can eat' type of breakfast, my parents took all kind of foods available. Meanwhile me, my brother, and my sister only ate necessary foods. I ate a red rice, pasta, and fish chips. Then my mother took some breads and offered it to me. I was not in the mood to eat breads so i refused. My mother insist because she knew i liked sweet foods. Then i decided to took a waffle so my mother won't offer me anymore foods.

After breakfast, we went back to our room and get ready to swim. My family liked to swim except me. The insist that i have to swim too, because they're willing to accompany me to meet my friends. A ridiculous reason indeed. But i have no choice so i joined them. We swam until 10 am, and then we get ready to check-out from the hotel.

I called my friend that i'm going to arrive at Monas around 1 pm, and i described the clothes that i wear. After we're ready, we went down to the first floor. My mother checked-out and my father ordered taxi. We decided to have a lunch at nearby restaurants. After having lunch, we finally went to the Monas.

When we arrived at Monas, and i called my friend again. She said she was at the side of Monas, near a long queue. We search around Monas. My father grumbled because the meeting location that my friend gave wasn't clear, but at last we met her when looking throughout the area around the queue. We talked so much about Musical Touken Ranbu and other things. I was kind of confused when we were out of topics, but i've overcome it. Then it was time to went home, so we say our farewell. My family board the train from Gambir station. It's another 3 hours long trip. This time, i sat beside a stranger. Her position is near the window, so i can't enjoy the view along the rail road. It was boring. Then we arrived at Bandung around 6 pm.

And the rest of holiday, of course i spend it at home.
